Milan more likely to lose Romagnoli on a free transfer

Serie A giants Milan are more likely to lose Alessio Romagnoli on a free transfer next summer and that is a possibility which is quite liked by Mino Raiola.

Journalist Andrea Longoni recently wrote some updates about the situation of Romagnoli in a column for MilanNews, claiming that there now remain two possibilities regarding the Italian defender’s future.

The first one pertains to Romagnoli’s inclusion in a swap deal this summer. Raiola had a proposed a deal like that involving the defender and Juventus winger Federico Bernardeschi but the Rossoneri said ‘no’ to any possibility like that. It is said to be very difficult for a cash offer to arrive.

The second possibility pertains to the Italian leaving on a free next summer, with his current deal expiring at the end of next June. Leaving for free will allow Raiola an upper hand in any transfer that happens.
