Milan set appointment for Franck Kessie contract talks

Serie A giants Milan have now set up an appointment to extend midfielder Franck Kessie’s contract at the club.

Gianluca di Marzio has reported recently about the situation of Kessie, saying that the Rossoneri have set up an appointment with Kessie’s agent George Atangana and the idea is to make progress regarding the Ivorian’s new contract.

Milan are desperate to get Kessie to sign a new deal soon, just so they can avoid a repeat of Gianluigi Donnarumma and Hakan Calhanoglu in the summer of 2022. Extending the ex-Atalanta midfielder’s contract is now the club’s priority.

Kessie’s current deal runs out next summer and the midfielder has been linked with a move to Liverpool in recent days. He is currently part of the Ivorian squad which is taking part in the Olympics in Tokyo, Japan.
