Milan set to dip into market following key development

Milan are set to dip into the transfer market for midfielders following Franck Kessie’s injury.

Gianluca di Marzio has reported recently that Kessie had stopped during a training session yesterday and he underwent scans today. It revealed a muscle injury, which means that the Ivorian will miss the first few games of the Serie A season.

Sandro Tonali and Ismael Bennacer remain Stefano Pioli’s only fit midfield options and as a result, the Rossoneri will now dip into the market for a central midfielder especially if Kessie’s injury is deemed to be serious.

Bennacer and Kessie will also leave for the African Cup on Nations at the end of the year and Milan are now looking to focus on signing a midfielder.
