Mourinho plans Roma revolution

Jose Mourinho is planning to revolutionise the current Roma squad and has planned certain outgoings for the January window.

Marco Conterio has reported that Mourinho is pushing hard to bring about changes in the side. He sees Roger Ibanez and Gianluca Mancini as key parts of the defence but needs another centre-back to fill the back three because of Chris Smalling’s injuries.

There’s a possibility that Marash Kumbulla could go out on loan, while Federico Fazio’s future remains away from the club.

There is a need for a midfielder as well and Roma would have to sell Gonzalo Villar first. They will also evaluate options for Amadou Diawara. Bryan Reynolds will be loaned out but Roma will look for a back-up for Rick Karsdorp.
