Napoli have made contact with Manchester United for defender Axel Tuanzebe.
Gianluca di Marzio has reported that in the last few hours, Napoli have asked for information about the defender, who is on loan at Aston Villa and hasn’t been a regular under Steven Gerrard. Aurelio de Laurentiis is interested in the player and he has started contacts with the Red Devils.
Napoli would want to know if United could end the loan at Villa and send him on loan at Napoli. They also want to know if they can have an option to buy him permanently.Â
Tuanzebe has made nine Premier League appearances at Villa but his game time has dried up under Steven Gerrard.
