PSG could push for Koulibaly after Ramos injury, Napoli in talks for replacement

Paris Saint-Germain could yet make a move to sign Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly, with the Partenopei wanting a fee of €50 million for the defender and they already have a replacement in mind.

La Gazzetta dello Sport report today that with Sergio Ramos now out for some weeks due to an injury, PSG could now push for Koulibaly. Mauricio Pochettino has identified the Senegalese defender as the replacement, with Napoli having set the asking price already but they could sell for a price cheaper than €50 million as well.

While that is still in a hypothesis stage, Napoli see Marco Senesi as a potential replacement. Cristiano Guintoli has already opened talks for the defender. Feyenoord demand €15 million for the player but Napoli believe that the valuation isn’t realistic. As a result, they could look to sign the centre-back on loan with the obligation to buy later.

Lille’s Reinildo remains a target for Napoli and Sheffield United star Sander Berge is an option for the midfield.
