Roma boss Mourinho has ‘asked for’ Man Utd defender

Roma boss Jose Mourinho has asked his club to move for Manchester United defender Diogo Dalot.

Il Romanista have reported that while Roma had hoped that Bryan Reynolds would be worthy of the first-time by now, that hasn’t happened. So the Giallorossi want a new right-back who could offer a rotation option. Nahitan Nandez is a target and he’s asked to leave Cagliari multiple times, but his asking price is out of reach for Roma.

For that reason, Mourinho has asked for Dalot. Milan tried to sign him before they signed Alessandro Florenzi but the player wants to leave United now.

Signing him on an initial loan deal with the option to buy him permanently will be a cheap option and buying him permanently is not expected to cost over €10 million, claim the outlet.
