Roma could look to make a move for Atletico Madrid’s Angel Correa in case of a January exit for Borja Mayoral.
La Gazzetta dello Sport claim that while Jose Mourinho is currently happy to make do with youth players in the striker positions, Mayoral’s exit could trigger a chance and force Roma’s hand in the market.
Mayoral could join Fiorentina in the winter and if that happens, Tiago Pinto could move for Serdar Azmoun. But Correa’s name has now entered the shortlist for the club. Roma believe that the player has the right characteristics in terms of age and playing style. One thing that may not favour Roma is the competition in the market for the player.
