A fresh transfer domino could now be about to unfold involving the Premier League and Serie A and it could involve Chelsea, Inter, Lazio and Atalanta.
Gianluca di Marzio has reported that Chelsea are expected to make a new offer for Lukaku and they will offer €120 million plus a player in a deal. This will force Lukaku to potentially head back to Stamford Bridge and it will convince Inter to sell the Belgian.
But this could bring about a transfer domino, as Inter will look to use the money from Lukaku’s sale to sign Duvan Zapata from Atalanta and Joaquin Correa from Lazio. As a result of Zapata’s departure, La Dea could well sign Tammy Abraham from Chelsea to replace the Colombian and it has been reported that Correa’s sale will be crucial to Lazio’s finances for the summer, helping them sign Julian Brandt and Fiorentina’s Jose Callejon.
In some ways, Lukaku’s sale to the Premier League could unlock a variety of moves across Italy.
