Sassuolo star Gianluca Scamacca is the favourite to replace Alexis Sanchez at Inter soon.
This comes from La Gazzetta dello Sport, who claim that Inter are still looking to reduce their wage bill and it is very likely to start with Sanchez in January. The Chilean is often injured and unhappy with the lack of game time and letting him go in January in any way will allow Inter €10.5 million per year on the wage bill.
Even if they have to pay severance pay, their wage bill will be knocked down significantly and the club is eyeing a more functional striker in Scamacca to replace Sanchez with. The Sassuolo star is the favourite for the role, as things stand.
