Tonali after Milan’s draw at Udinese: “The target is still the Scudetto.”

Milan midfielder Sandro Tonali has stated that the Scudetto is still the Rossoneri’s target, even though the draw against Udinese hampered their progress.

Beto scored in the first half for the Rossoneri and while Milan tried hard till the end, it was Zlatan Ibrahimovic who grabbed an acrobatic, late equaliser for the side.

After the game, Tonali talked to DAZN and stated: “The reaction came late, if we reacted earlier we could have done better. We have to restart from the second half and forget the first part, we made them do what they wanted. We have to restart next Sunday to go to the maximum. The coach told me to bring the midfield line higher, we cannot stay so low for the whole game. We must try to bring this point home but start again and turn from the next one.”

When asked about whether Milan have their eyes set on the Scudetto, he stated: “We never stop believing it, the goal is that [Scudetto] and a draw in Udine does not change. We start next week to give our best”.
