Tottenham boss Conte: “Spurs is the most difficult challenge of my career.”

Tottenham boss Antonio Conte has stated that the Spurs job is the most challenging adventure of his career so far.

Conte spoke exclusively to La Gazzetta dello Sport recently and the Italian talked about a host of things. He was asked about Spurs and the job at hand, while also talking about the job he did at Juventus, Chelsea and Inter.

Conte told: “I’ve always taken teams that came from difficult times, in which we had to rebuild. Juve were out of the Cups, the national team had been eliminated in the group stages at the 2014 World Cup, Chelsea came from a tenth placed finish, Inter hadn’t won since 2010. I have never made comfortable choices, but this one involving Tottenham is certainly the most difficult and therefore also the most stimulating.”

Conte’s Spurs beat Vitesse 3-2 in the UEFA Conference League and they were held to a 0-0 draw by Everton in the Premier League.
