Tottenham have an admiration for Roma’s Lorenzo Pellegrini

Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur reportedly have a liking for Roma star Lorenzo Pellegrini but the Lilywhites are yet to make an offer for the midfielder, reports SportItalia journalist Gianluigi Longari.

The journalist has confirmed that Roma are yet to strike an agreement for a new contract for the Italian, with his current deal running out in 2022 and it also has a release clause of 30 million.

It has also been stated that while there are ‘no signs’ of an offer yet, Pellegrini wants to stay at the club and extend his deal at the Stadio Olimpico. Spurs’ new sporting director Fabio Paratici happens to be an admirer of the ex-Sassuolo man.

Pellegrini had missed Euro 2020 because of an injury, but the midfielder had impressed for the Giallorssi last season by scoring seven goals and getting as many assists. He also contributed to six goals in the UEFA Europa League.
