Premier League side West Ham see Fiorentina’s Nikola Milenkovic as a centre-back option but any move for the Serbian will depend on the transfer domino effect involving Juventus, Atalanta and Tottenham.
La Nazione have published an article about the situation of Milenkovic, stating that there is no doubt that the defender wants to depart Fiorentina and there is certainty about it. It states that clubs have already moved to sign the 23-year-old but they’ve failed to sign him.
It has been stated that Juventus and Tottenham have an equal chance of signing him but the third name which has cropped up is that of West Ham. It is believed that their talks for Kurt Zouma have stalled and they’re now looking at Milenkovic as an option.
There seems to be no guarantee about whether the Hammers could come up with a real bid or not but a lot of it depends on the transfer domino effect involving Juventus’ Merih Demiral (who has been linked with Atalanta) and Cristian Romero (who would need replacing by La Dea if Tottenham sign him). Both the clubs like Milenkovic and could move for the Serbian, depending on the moves involving Demiral and Romero.
