Lautaro Martinez’s agent Alejandro Camano has spoken about his client’s future after a summer of reports linking the Argentine away from Inter Milan.
Reported by Sky Italia, Camano has spoken on his client’s future and emphasised in an interview with TyCSports.com that the striker is committed to the former Scudetto winners Inter:
“There are always approaches but today Lautaro has everything clear in mind: think of Inter and the World Cup.
“In the past markets, there were possibilities for impressive figures but he understood that the best thing was not to change”
Camano however has left the door open for a possible future departure from Inter, hinting that anything can happen in the future:
“In the future anything can happen, Inter is not going through its best moment, but is a great team and fantastic place.”
If Lautaro was to want to move elsewhere his agent is adamant that he is not short of potential suitors:
“He is in the top ten players worldwide and although many called me, Lautaro has two priorities between now and the end of the year: Inter and Argentina”
The agent lastly praised Inter calling it a ‘wonderful project’ and making it clear that Lautaro is not considering a departure right now and is determined to win the World Cup in what would be the ‘icing on the cake’ for the striker.
Lautaro has 3 goals and 1 assist in his 8 Serie A games this season to date and will be hoping to kick on to find his best form in the near future.
Martinez was previously linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur in the summer, but a potential move depended on an unlikely exit involving Harry Kane.
