Italy international Andrea Belotti has undergone a medical with Roma ahead of a transfer to the club.
Belotti’s contract with Torino had expired at the end of the previous campaign and he has been a free agent since then, having received offers from the likes of Monaco and Galatasaray.
But Sky Italia claim that as expected, he is now set to join Roma and the striker was at Villa Stuart today to undergo a medical with the Giallorossi. Some final details of the transfer and the contract are being sorted out and the move could be announced tomorrow.

Belotti’s move to Roma was all but done even previously but the club had to move on some players to have the finances to sign the striker. Eldor Shomurodov was initially being linked heavily with a move to Bologna but that didn’t work out. Felix Afena-Gyan is now all but set to join Cremonese and his exit is bringing about the move for Belotti.
He had put other offers on hold because of his preference for the Giallorossi.
