OFFICIAL | Angel Di Maria joins Juventus

Juventus have announced the signing of former Real Madrid superstar Angel Di Maria, who left Paris Saint-Germain as a free agent this summer.

The reports in Italy understand that Angel Di Maria has signed a one-year contract with Juventus. The 34-year-old joined PSG in 2015 after spending just one season at Manchester United.

The former Champions League winner with Real Madrid won five Ligue 1, four French Cup, and four French League Cup titles during his stay in the French capital.

The Rosario-born Argentinian racked up 93 goals and 119 assists for Les Parisien in 295 appearances across all competitions.

At Juventus, he is considered a short-term replacement for Paulo Dybala. With La Joya’s contract with Juventus expiring in June 2022, the Italian club wanted to sign a suitable replacement.

Despite Di Maria taking more time than previously anticipated to make his final decision regarding this summer transfer to Juventus, Massimiliano Allegri’s side has finally managed to get the deal over the line.

In Turin, the winger will be hopeful of adding new accolades to his illustrious trophy cabinet. He will wear the number 22 jersey at the Bianconeri.
