Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur side have now made history following their compact 2-0 win over Everton.
Spurs cut down the gap between themselves and league leaders Arsenal to one point with the win in London, as a penalty from Harry Kane and a late goal from Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg sealed a 2-0 win. The Toffees couldn’t register a single shot on target in the second half.
The win means that Spurs have now picked up the most points at this point of the campaign in their Premier League history and it is also their highest points tally at this point of the season since the 1963/64 season.
