Arsenal make enquiry about Inter’s Federico Dimarco

Arsenal have asked for information about Inter defender Federico Dimarco.

Journalist Marco Conterio has reported about the situation of the Inter defender, claiming that while Alessandro Bastoni is being keenly followed by both Manchester United and Tottenham and Chelsea also linked, Dimarco is also attracting attention from England.

Arsenal have asked for information about the Italian, who has played at left wing-back and left centre-back for Inter. Simone Inzaghi values his abilities and versatility at the back, with his ability from set-pieces also considered important by the manager.

He renewed his contract at Inter at the end of 2021 but Arsenal are interested, regardless. If a fee of around €20 million-€25 million is offered for him, Inter could consider selling him. As things stand though, their intention is to keep him at the club for longer.

Dimarco had spent the 2020/21 season on loan at Verona and after impressing there, he returned to the Nerazzurri.
