Arsenal interested in Real Madrid man as Milan face two problems

Milan are currently said to be facing two challenges in their attempt to sign Marco Asensio from Real Madrid.

Daniele Longo has reported that Asensio is currently tempted by the chance to leave Real Madrid and Milan see this as a good opportunity to sign the Spaniard. Stefano Pioli would like the move and first contact for the player through intermediaries led to an understanding of what the Rossoneri would need.

Real will demand a fee of €25 million-€30 million to sell him and the relations between the two clubs are said to be ‘excellent’. Milan are keeping tabs on any developments that take place.

Another challenge is Asensio’s wage demand, which stands at €5 million-€7 million a season. Milan consider that to be very high but there is room to negotiate, with Arsenal also interested in the Spaniard.

While Arsenal are in the running, Asensio would soon make a decision about his future and whether he wants a move to Milan or not.
