Arsenal defender Pablo Marì is evaluating a move away from the Premier League club this summer, with Serie A clubs like Monza and Hellas Verona plotting a transfer.
According to transfer market expert Fabrizio Romano, Hellas Verona have submitted a new bid to Arsenal for Pablo Marì. Romano claims that Verona are offering a permanent deal for the Brazilian defender.
Monza are also understood to be interested in bringing in the centre-back. But they are willing to land him on a loan plus an obligation to buy, which would be triggered if they were to stay in Serie A by the end of the 2022/23 campaign.
It is expected that Marì will decide on his future sooner rather than later as the 28-year-old remains keen on leaving the Gunners amid this summer transfer window.
Last season, having failed to break into Mikel Arteta’s first team, Mari joined Udinese on a six-month loan deal.
In Serie A, he went on to play 15 games before returning to London earlier this summer. As things stand, the defender has a contract at Arsenal until June 2024.
