Barcelona talk to agent of Napoli defender

Barcelona have already talked to agent Fali Ramadani about the situation of Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly.

La Gazzetta dello Sport report today that Ramadani recently visited the Nou Camp to talk to Barcelona executives and Xavi about his client Miralem Pjanic, who returns to the Catalan club at the end of the current season.

During the meeting, Barca also talked about Koulibaly and his situation. His contract expires in the summer of 2023 and Napoli have postponed contract talks and decisions about their players till the end of the season, so that players can focus on the Scudetto race.

Koulibaly’s current wage accounts for about 10 percent of Napoli’s total wage bill and any offers that come in now will be lower than the ones that Manchester United and PSG have made in the past.

Barca are ready to propose a hefty wage to the AFCON winner, with Aurelio de Laurentiis yet to make a decision about the player’s future.
