Chelsea have now sealed the signing of Juventus midfielder Denis Zakaria on deadline day.
Following David Ornstein‘s report for The Athletic, Romeo Agresti and Gianluca di Marzio have confirmed that Chelsea now have an agreement with the Bianconeri over an initial loan move for Zakaria.
Ornstein has stated that Zakaria in undergoing a medical in Turin itself ahead of a move to Stamford Bridge, with an agreement over personal terms not expected to be an issue between the Swiss midfielder and the Blues. Chelsea will also have an option to buy the player permanently once the loan ends next summer.
Zakaria had joined Juve from Borussia Monchengladbach back in January and had even scored on his debut. But the Old Lady’s finances have forced them to move on the midfielder, with Arthur also heading to Liverpool but on a dry loan deal. Leandro Paredes has already joined Juve on a loan deal.
