Chelsea striker’s potential Inter return remains ‘far away’

Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku’s potential return to Inter still remains a far-fetched possibility.

Corriere della Sera talk about Lukaku’s situation and whether he could return to Inter in the summer. They claim that a potential return is still ‘far away’, even though the Belgian would like to return to his former club.

The idea is only a suggestion right now and more will be known when Chelsea’s new owners step in and decide the future of the Belgian.

The solution to his situation would only be that Inter sign him on a loan and not on a permanent basis but the major condition would be that the 29-year-old would have to reduce his wage demands in order to seal a move back to the San Siro. He currently earns €12 million per season but he would have to reduce the demand to what he earned at the Nerazzurri.
