Fiorentina ready to sell Erick Pulgar to sign Dodo from Shakhtar Donetsk

Fiorentina would like to sort out the future of Erick Pulgar before completing their much-awaited move for Domilson Cordeiro dos Santos, popularly known as Dodô.

According to Italian transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio, Fiorentina could sacrifice Erick Pulgar to facilitate a transfer for Dodô this summer.

The report claims that Brazilian club Flamengo have shown interest in landing the 28-year-old Chilean.

The Antofagasta-born midfield maestro signed for La Viola in the summer of 2019 and has so far made 82 appearances.

In the January transfer window of 2022, the midfielder joined Turkish club Galatasaray on a six-month loan. The South American had played 11 matches for Galatasaray before he returned to Florence earlier this summer.

It is evident that the player doesn’t belong to Vincenzo Italiano’s first-team plans. Although Pulgar has a contract at the club until June 2023, it is more likely that he would be offloaded in the ongoing summer transfer market.
