After several rumours about a potential return, it seems like Franck Kessié won’t be coming back anytime soon in Serie A.
Kessié joined FC Barcelona this summer on a free after his contract at Milan expired. Il Presidente was very vocal about renewing his contract at the Milanese club, so him not staying true to his words angered Milanisti.
The Ivorian midfielder has failed to cement himself into Xavi’ starting eleven and some sources suggested that he was looking to return to Italy soon. According to Italian journalist Daniele Longo, that is not true. “Franck Kessié was never offered to Milan or any other Italian club in the last few months”, he said.
Kessie has not made a massive impact at Barcelona and there has been talk of an early exit for the Ivorian. Recent teports have linked the midfielder with a move to Milan’s Serie A rivals such as Juventus and even Inter.
