Giacomo Raspadori prefers Napoli as his next destination

Giacomo Raspadori intends to leave Sassuolo this summer, with Napoli emerging as an interested party in the attacker’s pursuit.

According to Italian transfer market expert Alfredo Pedulla, Giacomo Raspadori has chosen Napoli as his next destination and doesn’t wish to change his mind amid rumours of Napoli being interested in a transfer.

Sassuolo have already lost one of their talented prospects in Gianluca Scamacca, who has moved to West Ham United to kick start his life in the Premier League.

Considering that, the Neroverdi were unwilling to let go of another talented youngster in the same transfer window.

But Napoli are preparing an offer of around €30 million (including bonuses) for Raspadori, who has two years left on his current terms at Emilia-Romagna.

While Sassuolo were previously keen on offering a contract renewal to Raspadori in an attempt to extend his term at the Italian club, no renewal offer seems imminent amid the growing assumptions of the player’s potential departure.

The Partenopei await a mass exodus before ramping up their interest in the 22-year-old, with Adam Ounas, Piotr Zieliński and Andrea Petagna all linked with a move away from Naples this summer.

If Raspadori leaves his current station, Sassuolo will consider signing Inter youngster Andrea Pinamonti, who is also a transfer target for Atalanta.
