“He is at Inter, he is happy,” Lautaro Martinez’s agent denies Manchester United and Arsenal links

Amid stories of the financial instabilities at Inter, Lautaro Martinez has been linked with a plethora of clubs, including Manchester United and Arsenal, ahead of the summer transfer window.

In an interview with Radio Colonia, (via La Gazzetta dello Sport), the striker’s agent, Alejandro Camaño, denied the rumours of his client being currently interested in a move away from Italy this summer. In the recent interview, Camaño said:

“Lautaro is thinking of Inter, of giving joy to the Nerazzurri people. He wants to win another Scudetto and work towards the World Cup in Qatar. We are not thinking of a transfer, he is at Inter, he is happy, the city is wonderful.”

Inter are reportedly considering selling the sharpshooter to boost their transfer funds in the summer. This season, the 24-year-old has been in decent form, having scored 17 goals from 32 Serie A appearances.

Other than Man United and Arsenal, Atletico Madrid have also been keeping tabs on Martinez. Multiple reports believe that the player and Diego Simeone share a deep affection for each other.
