Inter reach agreement with Roma’s Henrikh Mkhitaryan

Inter have agreed terms with Roma’s Henrikh Mkhitaryan for a summer transfer.

FCInter1908 have reported about Inter’s interest in Mkhitaryan, claiming that the Armenian is expected to be the Nerazzurri’s second summer signing and he, like Andre Onana, will also arrive on a free transfer. Confirmations to the outlet have now arrived.

There is now a two-year agreement on a contract and it will be signed after the medical is held and completed. The player will earn €3 million a season and the ex-Manchester United and ex-Arsenal man will join Inter on a free transfer.

This comes after Alfredo Pedulla had reported about Inter’s interest and the journalist had claimed doubts about Mkhitaryan’s contract renewal at Roma. Tottenham and Aston Villa were also said to be interested in the playmaker, who arrived at Roma after his spell at Arsenal.

While Mkhitaryan had started in the club’s 1-0 win over Feyenoord, he had come off due to injury in the first half.
