Inter meet Juventus star Paulo Dybala’s agent within the next 48 hours

Interested in making a couple of attacking additions, Inter are evidently closing in on signing Paulo Dybala on a free transfer in the approaching summer transfer window.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter’s Beppe Marotta and Piero Ausilio will hold a face-to-face meeting with Jorge Antun, Paulo Dybala’s agent, within the next 48 hours. It is claimed that the meeting could take place on Monday. If that doesn’t happen due to some reasons, it will certainly be held on Tuesday.

The report understands that Paulo Dybala has already made his decision about joining Inter this summer. And thus, he has advised his representatives to avoid focusing too much on the offers coming from abroad. He was indeed interested in moving to Spain.

But, having failed to attain any concrete offer from the top Spanish club, La Joya is determined to continue his game in Italy. He believes that Inter is the right club for him. Their ambition echoes Dybala’s hunger for Scudetto and other titles. And that’s why he is willing to pen a contract, although he will reportedly be earning a lot less than that what he would pocket at Juventus.

In the next meeting, it is reported that the emphasis will be on structuring a deal rather than finalising the details of the sought-after transfer.

Marotta is currently offering Dybala a net salary of €6million per season in a three-year deal with an option for the fourth year. The Argentinian’s lawyer has already tried to increase the wage-related figure but has got an answer that it is the best Inter can do at the moment.

The story suggests that there is a long way to go before the Nerazzurri enthusiasts eventually see Dybala donning the colours of their club. But all the indications are suggesting that the move will go over the line at some point in the near future.
