Inter have identified three potential replacements for Ivan Perisic, with the club still optimistic about reaching an agreement over a contract renewal.
As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter are keeping an eye on Eintracht Frankfurt’s Filip Kostic as Ivan Perisic’s potential replacement.
The report believes that Inter are still hopeful of reaching an agreement with Perisic over a renewal, but if things go south, Inter will try to land his 29-year-old compatriot.
With Perisic’s contract expiring in June 2022, Inter are currently offering a one-year renewal and a salary of €4million per year with an option for the following year. But the 33-year-old seeks €5million per year and a guaranteed stay of two years in his new contract.
Kostic’s contract in Germany runs out in June 2023. According to the report, he does not have any intention to pen a renewal at Frankfurt.
Furthermore, Inter are reportedly keeping tabs on Borussia Monchengladbach’s Ramy Bensebaini and Genoa’s Andrea Cambiaso. But firstly, the Inter management would like to try their luck with Perisic. He is considered a key figure in Simone Inzaghi’s team.
