Inter manager Simone Inzaghi’s sacking not imminent

Inter have suffered three defeats in their last four matches in Serie A. However, reports continue to suggest that Inter have faith in Simone Inzaghi’s abilities to turn things around.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter are not thinking about Inzaghi’s replacement as they want the former Lazio boss to steer the club through this period of uncertainty. Though, the defeat to Roma has put the management on alert.

The report understands that the whole coaching department at the club is currently under observation. Inzaghi has already used the lifeline, redeemed by his success in the Coppa Italia last season and Supercoppa Italiana this year. As things stand, he reportedly has time until the upcoming World Cup to save his job.

Since the start of the season, the 19-time Scudetto winners have lost four games and won four, accumulating 12 points from eight matches. The gap between Inter and Napoli (the current league leaders) has already increased to eight points.
