Inter, Milan and Napoli interested in Tottenham Hotspur’s Japhet Tanganga

Japhet Tanganga’s impressive performances have placed him under the radar of several Serie A clubs, including Milan, Inter, and Napoli.

As reported by journalist Gianluigi Longari, the player profile of Japhet Tanganga is well appreciated by numerous clubs in Serie A. Milan made an enquiry for the defender in the last January transfer window and since have shown interest in landing the Englishman.

Milan’s interest in the 23-year-old is followed by their crossroad rivals in Inter and their Naples-based counterpart in Napoli. As per the report, both Inter and Napoli have even tested the water but are yet to intensify their pursuit.

The defender’s career spurred to life under the manager of Jose Mourinho, who handed Tanganga a tally of 21 appearances across all competitions during the Portuguese’s brief spell in London.

Since Spurs hired Antonio Conte as a replacement for Nuno EspĂrito Santo in November 2021, the London-born centre-back has amassed 740 minutes of football across 11 appearances in all competitions. The England U21 international has a contract at Spurs until June 2025.
