Atletico Madrid are prowling around for Lautaro Martinez’s summer signature and Inter have now put an asking price on the Argentine’s head.
Carlo Laudisa has reported that Diego Simeone has been keeping tabs on Martinez’s situation for quite a lot of time and with Inter in need to settle their accounts, the Argentine’s sale could bring about more liquidity in their funds.
The report claims that Atletico are at the front row for his signature and while it is too early to talk about advancing negotiations, there are good relations between the player’s entourage and the Spanish club. Martinez’s agent is currently in Spain and this has given him potential chances to talk to Atletico.
Inter want to stay informed about any developments that are taking place. Martinez’s older release clause isn’t relevant because he signed a new deal and Inter now want €70 million for his sale. In his next deal at the next club, Martinez will also earn more than what he earns now.
