Inter are eager to increase the quality within their back-line as they have set their sights on Leicester City central defender Calgar Soyuncu.
As it stands, the Nerazzurri have yet to reach an agreement regarding the renewals of defensive pair Milan Skriniar and Stefan De Vrij. In the case where the club fails to extend one of the players prior to when their contracts run out this summer, the Benemata have identified their ideal replacement within the back-three.
According to reports from Fc Inter News, Inter are keen on the thought of acquiring Soyuncu on a free transfer ahead of next season, as his contract with the Premier League outfits is set to mature in the upcoming summer window.
So far this season, the 26 year-old has only made a single appearance for the Foxes within the Premier League thus far. However, the Turkish international has acquired plenty of experience since arriving from Freiburg in 2018, amassing 92 appearances and playing an immense role in clinching an FA Cup and Community Shield.
With Inter short for time in reaching an agreement with both Skriniar and De Vrij, the Nerazzurri have earmarked the former Turkish footballer of the year winner as their ideal candidate to fill the potential gap if needs be.
