Inter’s Ivan Perisic likes Juventus amid Chelsea interest

Ivan Perisic’s future at Inter remains far from decided, with a host of clubs looking to land the Croat on a free transfer this summer.

According to Sky Italia, Ivan Perisic is tempted by Massimiliano Allegri’s project at Juventus. It is suggested that Inter wing-back has not closed the doors to Turin. On the other hand, Bianconeri have not submitted any concrete offer for the 33-year-old yet. The next few weeks are understood to be decisive in the budding saga.

However, the report suggests that the Old Lady representatives have already made inquiries about the availability of the player through intermediaries. Perisic’s contract at Inter expires in June 2022.

The Nerazzurri intend to extend the contract of the Croatia international but are unwilling to meet the player’s financial demands. The report claims that Inter will make a last attempt to keep Perisic at Inter for at least another season. As reported previously, Premier League sides such as Newcastle United and Chelsea have shown interest in signing the wing-back.

Juventus could sign Perisic on a free transfer this summer if they agreed upon offering the former Bayern Munich star a two-year contract (with an option for a third year) and an annual net salary of around €6million. Playing down the left-wing, the ex-Borussia Dortmund man has racked up seven goals and seven assists from 34 Serie A appearances this season.
