Roma boss Jose Mourinho has won the Serie A Coach of the Month award for August.
Before Atalanta’s convincing win over Torino, Roma were at the top of the table but they are now joint-top of the league – tied at the top with La Dea. Mourinho’s side are unbeaten so far, as Paulo Dybala’s brace recently helped them pick up a 3-0 win over Monza.
Serie A have confirmed that Mourinho has won the Serie A Coach of the Month award for having picked up ten out of possible 12 points in the league so far.Â
Roma have beaten Monza, Salernitana and Cremonese so far. Despite a rather sub-par performance against Juventus, the Giallorossi still managed to pick up a 1-1 draw thanks to a goal from Tammy Abraham in the next half of the game.
They face Udinese in their next Serie A game but their next big game comes against Atalanta on the 18th of September.
