Juventus already in contact for Chelsea defender

Juventus are already in contact with Chelsea’s Antonio Rudiger for a summer move on a free transfer.

La Gazzetta dello Sport claim that addressing the situation of Giorgio Chiellini is a key priority for Juventus and they want to enter the market with an ambition to buy the Italian veteran. Chiellini’s future is also said to be in doubt.

The most popular name to replace Chiellini is that of Rudiger and work is already in progress to make a move for the German centre-half. Massimiliano Allegri is said to be a fan of the defender and he would like him at Juve.

Contacts with his agents have already started with the aim of closing the deal. The issue is the wage demand, with Rudiger wanting €8 million per season. Alternatives to Rudiger are Torino’s Bremer and Fiorentina’s Nikola Milenkovic.
