Juventus’ Angel di Maria could miss a month of action

Juventus star Angel di Maria could miss about a month’s of action after he picked up an injury recently.

The Argentine impressed a fair bit on his debut for the Bianconeri yesterday, as he scored the opener against Sassuolo and produced moments of sheer quality. But he was taken off in the 66th minute due to injury and Juventus have now revealed that he has picked up an adductor injury.

La Gazzetta dello Sport‘s Fabiana della Valle has provided an update about the player’s situation, claiming that the injury is a low-grade lesion on the left-thigh and the injury could take about 20 days to 30 days to heal, meaning that the Argentine could miss about a month of action.

Di Maria had arrived at Juve on a free transfer earlier this summer and while the player was initially looking to go back to South America, Juve pulled off the deal.
