Juventus close to sealing move for PSG’s Angel di Maria

Juventus are said to be edging closer and closer to sealing a move for Paris Saint-Germain’s Angel di Maria.

Marco Conterio has reported that Di Maria has decided to bid goodbye to PSG and stay in Europe. While Benfica did make an attempt to bring him back Portugal, Juventus were always leading the race for the Argentine star.

Talks with Juve had a positive conclusion and Jorge Mendes seems happy with a deal from the Bianconeri. Further contacts have taken place in the last few hours, with Juve having prepared a one-year deal on top of an option for a year long’s extension.

The deal now seems well set up, even if Juve will not take any advantage of the Growth Decree. The ex-Man Utd man is now edging closer to Juve.

Di Maria’s game time at PSG has reduced over the recent season but he has still contributed to 11 goals in Ligue 1.
