Juventus demand 18-month loan from Arsenal for midfielder

Juventus are demanding a 18-month long loan deal from Arsenal to let Arthur leave this month.

La Gazzetta dello Sport claim that since Arsenal have proposed a six-month loan, Juve are not happy with the financial engagements of the move yet. What Federico Cherubini has asked for is a longer loan of 18 months or a bigger financial commitment in the six-month long loan.

That will allow Juve to lighten their wage budget or it will give them some finances right away and help them seek out a replacement for the player this month.

As things stand, the former Barcelona man is ready to pack his bags to head to London to join Arsenal and he is said to be flattered by Mikel Arteta’s wishes and projecct. He believes that the move can help him get a chance to play for Brazil at the World Cup.
