Juventus have taken a step closer to sealing the deal for Paris Saint-Germain’s Leandro Paredes.
Interest from Roma has been reported about Paredes but it seems as if the Parisiens are close to selling the midfielder to the Bianconeri.
Gianluca di Marzio has reported that Juve have taken a step closer to signing the Argentine midfielder this summer and positive contact has been made with the French giants. The move could even now complete in the next few days as it approaches close.
Recent contacts have now unlocked a deal for the ex-Roma midfielder, with the two clubs now open to doing an initial loan deal with the option to sign him permanently. If Juve qualify for the Champions League, the option to buy will become an obligation to buy him permanently.
It is expected that Paredes won’t just be able to play a deep midfield role and could even play the Paul Pogba role this season.
