Juventus inform Morata of decision amidst Barcelona interest

Juventus have informed Alvaro Morata about their intentions for the striker, amidst strong interest from Barcelona.

Sky Italia claim that Juve held a meeting with Morata in the last few hours to discuss the player’s future at the club. There has been talk of Barca’s move for him and about the fact that he has agreed personal terms with the club already.

Juve have made it clear to the striker that they want to keep him in January and they want to depend on him for the rest of the current loan deal. Unless they don’t sign a new striker in January, they won’t let Morata join Barcelona in the current window.

Morata’s current loan deal with Juve expires in the summer and it has been stated that the Bianconeri have no intention to buy him permanently.
