With Alvaro Morata reportedly returning to Atletico Madrid this summer, Juventus are considering signing a deputy for Dushan Vlahovic.
As reported by La Stampa, Juventus are interested in signing Inter’s Edin Džeko in the upcoming summer transfer window. The club sees the striker as a suitable option to be an alternative to the Serbian.
His enormous experience of playing in different leagues in different parts of the world could benefit both Juventus and Vlahovic. The reports believe that the Bianconeri have already secured the signing of Paul Pogba and are now waiting for Angel Di Maria’s response.
After getting that, they will push forward with their intention to land Filip Kostić from Eintracht Frankfurt. At the moment, Džeko remains only an idea for Juventus. The Bosnian has a contract at Nerazzurri until June 2023.
But with Romelu Lukaku’s return to Inter coming closer, the former Roma star, who was initially signed to replace Lukaku last summer, could now move on to pastures new. Several clubs from UAE have also shown interest in luring Dzeko away from Inter this summer.
