Juventus miss out on Chelsea star as Real Madrid agree on a four-year contract

Juventus are looking to strengthen their defensive department, with Giorgio Chiellini eyeing a move to Major League Soccer this summer.

Journalist Daniele Longo claims that Juventus have missed out on the opportunity to land Antonio Rudiger from Chelsea on a free transfer this summer. The report suggests that Real Madrid have reached a four-year agreement with the German defender.

The player will reportedly earn a net salary of around €12million per season in his new contract at Madrid. It is believed that Juventus are not the only club that missed out on Rudiger’s signing, with Manchester United facing the same result in the pursuit of the defender.

He wanted to join a club that regularly plays in the Champions League. Consequently, he has chosen Real Madrid, as reported by the Italian journalist.
