Juventus’ Nicolo Fagioli unlikely to be loaned out following Lecce heroics

It is currently unlikely that midfielder Nicolo Fagioli gets loaned out by Juventus in the January transfer window.

Fagioli made headlines yesterday, as the Italian’s impressive curler helped the Bianconeri pick up a vital 1-0 win over Lecce away from home. It was his first goal for the club at the senior level.

La Gazzetta dello Sport have reported about the future of Fagioli at the Bianconeri, stating that the idea of Fagioli being loaned out by the club in January has reduced. Matias Soulé started the game on Sunday and he did impress in the second half against Benfica in the Champions League, but there is a high chance that he is loaned out by the Old Lady in the winter transfer window.

Juve are positive about Federico Gatti right now but depending on how he performs and how much he is playing, his situation in January could change and a loan move can arrive.
