Juventus pushing alongside Real Madrid and PSG for the Chelsea defender

With his contract at Chelsea expiring in June 2022, Antonio Rudiger could leave England on a free transfer this summer.

Journalist Fabrizio Romano claims that the race for Rudiger is wide open, with clubs such as Juventus, Real Madrid, and Paris Saint-Germain all pushing for the signing of the German defender in the approaching summer transfer window.

His report further suggests that there has been no change in the Rudiger situation. The centre-back would love to continue his career at Stamford Bridge. But he needs to sign a contract renewal first. And that currently seems impossible due to the sanctions that the British government has imposed on the club and its owner Roman Abramovich following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

It is told that Rudiger will decide on his future at Chelsea in the coming weeks and that he is being “more than respectful” as he awaits an offer from the reigning Champions League winners. The 29-year-old has made 28 Premier League appearances this season, establishing himself as one of the key players in Thomas Tuchel’s set-up.
