Juventus see Luis Muriel as an alternative to Atletico Madrid’s Alvaro Morata

Juventus are interested in making a move for a striker this summer. Atletico Madrid’s Alvaro Morata and Atalanta’s Luis Muriel are understood to have attained interest from the Old Lady.

According to journalist Alfredo Pedulla, Luis Muriel is more than a transfer idea for Juventus in this summer transfer window. Even though Massimiliano Allegri is pushing the Bianconeri management for the signing of Morata, Muriel is considered a suitable alternative to the Spaniard.

The report claims that Juve want to ensure Morata’s return for €13-€15 million. Nevertheless, it is the same valuation that La Dea are asking for the Colombian.

As reported previously, Atalanta are plotting a move for RB Leipzig star Ademola Lookman amid this summer transfer window. After staying two seasons on loan at Juventus, Morata returned to Atleti, vacating a position in the squad.

The Bianconeri are willing to sign a deputy for Dušan Vlahović. It has been reiterated time and again that their first choice remains Morata.

But should they fail to get him on board due to Atleti’s intent on keeping hold of the striker, Juventus are open to visiting the Muriel path.
