Serie A sides Fiorentina and Lazio are interested in the possibility of signing Freiburg’s Roland Sallai.
Sallai, 25, racked up four goals and four assists in the previous season and while he is yet to score for Freiburg, he found the back of the net eight times in the 2020/21 campaign. He has had a stint in Italy in the past, having plied his trade with Palermo in Serie A.
According to sources close to Get Italian Football News, Sallai has attracted interest from both Lazio and Fiorentina. While both clubs are keeping tabs on the Hungarian, he will not leave Freiburg in January and he is much more likely to leave the Bundesliga side in the summer. Spanish side Sevilla have also been interested in the 25-year-old.
Recently, Salai reached an agreement with World Soccer Agency’s Alessandro Lucci, who will now represent him and there is a real possibility of an exit in the summer.
For the Hungarian national team, Sallai has scored nine goals in 38 games so far.
