Lazio hold talks for Luca Pellegrini, player wants transfer

Lazio have now held talks to sign Luca Pellegrini, who is owned by Juventus but has been loaned out to Eintracht Frankfurt.

Pellegrini had spent the previous season at Juventus, where he had done well and had often played ahead of Alex Sandro at left-back.

Alfredo Pedulla has now reported about the situation of the Italian, stating that Lazio want to sign a left-back in as early as January and Pellegrini has been identified as a key target for that position by Maurizio Sarri and his side.

Yesterday, talks were held between the two parties as Claudio Lotito held a meeting to progress talks for the defender. Pellegrini is pushing for a move to the Roman outfit and Lazio have been described as the ‘team of his heart’, with the ex-Roma man keen on decreasing his salary as well.

If Pellegrini leaves Eintracht Frankfurt, he would only want to join Lazio, who are now trying to sign him on a two-year loan deal.
